About freakout

Each year since 2001, when this blend was known simply as Reserve White Wine, we have married varying amounts of Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Tocai Friulano, searching for the combination that maximizes the contribution of each grape. With the 2006 freakout, George Vare has led the way once again. We have added Ribolla Gialla from Vare Vineyards in Napa Valley, the only United States vineyard producing this little-known varietal.

So, now you have the facts, but there really is only one way to understand what all the fuss is about. Open up a bottle and taste what happens when inspired winemaking meets unrestrained excitement. That’s where the story really starts to get interesting.
